Kalifah Aganaga has revealed that several Ugandan artistes declined his request to feature on the highly anticipated remix of his hit song Nassanga. According to the singer, he reached out to a number of musicians hoping to assemble a star-studded collaboration, but not everyone was interested in taking part.
Among those Kalifah claims turned down the opportunity are Kapeke, Karole Kasita and Chosen Becky. While he did not disclose the specific reasons each artiste gave, he suggested that some were either unavailable or simply not convinced about joining the project.
The revelation has sparked mixed reactions from music fans, with some defending the artistes’ decisions as a matter of personal choice, while others believe they may have missed an opportunity to be part of what could become one of the year’s biggest remixes.
