At IFA 2026 in Berlin, one of the world’s biggest technology stages, TECNO made a strong impression with two IFA Global Product Technology Innovation Gold Awards, alongside a lineup of new devices showcasing the brand’s expanding ambitions in technology.
Two IFA Gold Awards for TECNO
TECNO walked away from IFA 2026 with two major honours. The TECNO Modular Phone received the Ultra-Slim Magnetic Modular Technology Innovation Gold Award, while the Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS (MEGA MINI G1 Pro) was recognised with the Miniaturized Gaming PC Technology Innovation Gold Award.
At just 4.9mm thick, the TECNO Modular Phone is designed around a magnetic modular system supported by pogo-pin connectors, allowing different hardware modules to be attached to the device. The phone has already received more than 20 international awards and recognitions, including from CNET, Android Authority, Yanko Design and The Verge.
The second award went to the Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS, a compact gaming PC that combines a small form factor with high-performance computing. It features an Intel Core i9-13900HK processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics, water cooling and 15 ports, including OCuLink and USB4.
Together, the two awards underline TECNO’s growing reputation for innovation across smartphones, computing and emerging technology categories.
The Phone With No Edges
One of the biggest attractions at TECNO’s IFA booth was the Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone, featuring what the company describes as a true 0mm display border.
Unlike conventional smartphones with a visible black edge around the screen, the concept is designed to eliminate that border, allowing the display to extend seamlessly to the edges of the device. The result is a more immersive viewing experience for gaming, videos, photography and everyday content.
Technology creator Marques Brownlee had an early hands-on experience with the device and described it as “kind of surreal.”
TECNO says the technology behind the concept could also contribute to future developments in areas such as cameras, touch interaction, sound and smart user interfaces, making the 0mm display more than simply a visual design experiment.
More New Devices Take the Stage
Beyond the awards and bezelless concept, TECNO showcased a broad lineup of new products. The MEGABOOK T15 360 Series, comprising the T15 360 and T15 360 Pro, introduces 360° convertible laptops that can switch between Laptop, Tablet, Tent and Stand modes, while the MEGABOOK K15S WCL targets students and young professionals and the larger MEGABOOK T17 Ultra is designed for more demanding productivity, creative work, entertainment and moderate gaming.
TECNO also previewed the CAMON Slim 5G, combining a 6.39mm slim profile with photography and AI-focused features, alongside the POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, which brings together the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G platform, TECNO’s P1 Graphic Chip and a 5K IceShield Vapor Chamber Cooling System for performance-focused use.
A Broader Technology Vision
With two IFA Gold Awards and a lineup spanning smartphones, laptops, gaming computers and futuristic concepts, TECNO’s IFA 2026 presence demonstrates how the brand is expanding beyond traditional smartphone technology.
From the 0mm bezelless concept and 4.9mm modular phone to flexible laptops and compact gaming hardware, TECNO is exploring new ways for technology to become more adaptable to different consumer needs.
Guided by its “Stop At Nothing” philosophy, TECNO continues to explore new designs, device formats and AI-powered experiences as it builds its vision for the future of connected technology.
