Recently, a video went viral on social media showing King Zale physically assaulting fellow artist Kalifah Aganaga.
This caused tension given the numerous assaults both physical and sexual that are on the rise in the music industry.
Back to this unfortunate battle, King Zale came amount and gave his reasons why he beat up Kalifah Aganaga.
He stated that he beat up the fellow artist because he had abused his mother one thing he could never tolerate or something that no person would tolerate.
“He just made one mistake. He spoke something vulgar against my mother and I had to react. I pushed him.” Said Zale.
King Zale however emphasised that media is blowing this incident out of proportion because he didn’t slap his comrade but rather only pushed him away.
He further noted that Kalifah Aganaga goes around spreading negative and wrong rumours about fellow artists. He gave a case in point where he has tarnished Fik Gaza’s name something that has not been sitting well with him all this long.
Kalifah Aganaga has a different story regarding this drama. He stated that their conflict started when Fik Gaza refused to perform at a certain and he went ahead and demanded payment.
Fik Gaza also accused Kalifah of having a dangerous gang he moves around with in the streets of Kampala.
When asked about the slap, Fik Gaza noted that he has fans and followers that won’t let anyone to disrespect him. Among these he noted was King Zale
“ I am usually a patient person. Despite everything I heard, I kept my cool. That is not the case with my buddies. They are not as patient as I am. Khalifah said so many things and I kept cool but my buddies are more short tempered than I am Khalifah said so many annoying things so people like Zale obviously had to discipline him.” He said.
Assaults and physical conflicts are becoming normal in the music industry and we only hope that this particular incident does not lead to death like it has happened to some great artists in the country.
