Rema invited Eddy Kenzo to her concert earlier this month, and it was held on Friday at the Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
Even though he used his social media to raise support for the Ngonze artist, the Big Talent chairman chose not to attend the ceremony.
Kenzo claims that he refrained from going to the concert so as not to interfere with Rema’s performance.
He clarified that if Rema had been the Queen of the day, all the cameras would have been trained on him.
“I always think twice before I act, I don’t think it would have made sense for me to attend @remah001’s show physically, for people to put all the cameras and attention on me forgetting the main aim of the show, to start relating me to things, I didn’t want to sabotage her show because at the end of the day, I’m a beneficiary
