Barbie Kyagulanyi has suggested that young couples prioritize their financial goals before getting married.
Barbie Kyagulanyi clarified that they constructed their Magere house prior to getting married by using her personal example. Additionally, prior to marriage, they acquired land in Kamwokya and Busabaala.
In their partnership, they shared love and commitment, thus they decided to improve their own lives.
“We were saving and setting up businesses. We built this house when we were not yet married. We bought the place in Kamwokya, which houses NUP offices, when we were not married. We bought Busabaala when we were not married. So most of the things we have were made before marriage because we thought the money we would have used for a wedding should be put somewhere more financial, more physical, so we could have results,” she said.
Barbie added, “Since we were friends, no one was worried about the other leaving them. We were putting every single coin we were making to use because we knew the music industry is short-lived,” she said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
